Vesopa EPOS First Windows Release Build

We've completed the first official Windows release build for Vesopa EPOS! Discover how our new compiled desktop application delivers direct terminal hardware control, offline support, and speed.

Today marks an exciting milestone in our software roadmap: the completion of the first standalone Windows release build for Vesopa EPOS. This build transitions Vesopa from our core web layer into a fully compiled, touch-optimized desktop environment built specifically for Windows POS hardware.

🚀 Milestone Achieved: Native Windows Core Engine

This baseline build lays the foundation for high-speed terminal operations, local device control, and offline resilience across all supported Windows devices.

What’s Inside the First Windows Build?

Running point-of-sale operations in busy hospitality and retail settings requires split-second responsiveness. Moving to a dedicated Windows build allows Vesopa EPOS to bypass standard browser limitations and interact directly with terminal hardware.

Key Features in Version 1.0 Build

⚡ Direct Hardware Communication

Built-in support for thermal receipt printers (ESC/POS via USB, Serial, and LAN), automatic RJ11/12 cash drawers, and plug-and-play USB barcode scanning without requiring browser permissions.

🔄 Local Data Caching & Offline Continuity

Sales transactions, product catalogs, and category layouts are stored locally on the terminal. If your venue experiences internet hiccups, your service keeps moving forward uninterrupted.

📱 Touchscreen Native UI

Customized layout scaling for 10-inch to 22-inch POS touch monitors. Features quick-tender buttons, product grids, custom modifier prompts, and sleek dark UI presets.
